Reason to Rage entstand aus der Band Head Shot und kommen aus dem Großraum Bremen. Als Head Shot gewannen sie den Bandcontest 2006 in der Stadthalle Osterholz-Scharmbeck und nahmen die 7-Track EP „The Armageddon“ auf. Mit der Gründung von Reason to Rage kam Ingo Voissel als zusätzlicher Gitarrist in die Band.
